Seven hundred of the Somali national army has completed five months training in Hudur district, the capital of Bakol region southwest Somalia according to district officials, SONNA confirmed.
District commissioner of Hudur district in Bakol region, Mohamed Mo’allim Ahmed said that 700 troops of the Somali federal government forces have taken and completed military training saying that Ethiopian officials provided the training course that lasted five months.
Mohamed Mo’allim Ahmed, district commissioner of Hudur city of Bakol region said that the trained forces are ready to fight the Al-qaeda linked group of Al-Shabab and remove them from the areas they are still hiding them.
Other five hundred government soldiers took training in Bay region recently while Djiboutian officials opened training to government soldiers in Beledweyne city, the capital of Hiiraan region central Somalia.
The training courses given to the national forces of the Somali federal government improves the well being and moral of the soldiers fighting against the Al-qaeda in Somalia and ensuring the security.
